An unnecessary and ineffective upgrade.

The competition filter screen doesn't seem to work nearly as well as the plain silicone filter screen it replaces. The orange silicone part is markedly thinner than the older white silicone screen, and therefore requires the portafilter to be cranked even further to make a seal. So much so, that I feel that the metal parts are being stressed too much. Once tightened and I begin pressing, I can still see steam leaking out from it. I think I'm going to replace my old (white silicone) part for now while I try to find a new one. I don't see it on the Rok website anymore.
